Khishma Modoosoodun Nicolas

Hello, Bonzour! Welcome to my eportfolio! My name is Khishma Modoosoodun Nicolas. I completed my postgraduate studies in Copernicus Master in Digital Earth, jointly at the University of Salzburg, Austria and University of South Brittany, France.  I was born in the paradise island of Mauritius located in the western Indian Ocean.  Since childhood, I became fascinated with the vivid marine life and my passion for the ocean grew to pursue my dream job in this field. My main area of expertise is in exploring the ocean using remote sensing, GIS and AI technologies. With the CDE Master programme, I gained the required skills and knowledge to specialize in the emerging Artificial Intelligence field to better explore the ocean. I am currently pursuing a PhD at the Leibniz Centre for Tropical Marine Research and University of Bremen.
